Print advertisment

The copy is very smart as it says what's the 'What's the secret of speed' which is smart because the cheetah is the fastest mammal.

They have their logo to represent Nike.

They used a cheetah since it is the fastest mammal also it catches peoples eyes because animals are not usually used in sport print advertisements.

I like this advertisement because it is funny and goes well with the music, this advertisement always be in your head as it is catchy and has a hook, it also has the humor factor which would win over young audience, and thiis would lead to them asking their parents for the Cadbury and this mean a sale for the company.

I like this print advertisement because it is unique and funny,it is very creative and has a lot of humor in just one picture. The motto of the company is 'Feeding your cat's instincts' a lot of sense because the cat is chasing a wild animal like a wild cat.

Camera Shot Poster

Panning Shot
This is when a camera is mounted on a tripod and moves left to right. In photography, panning refers to the rotation in a horizontal plane of a still camera or video camera. Panning a camera results in a motion similar to that of someone shaking their head.

Arc Shot

An arc shot is a camera move around the subject, somewhat like a tracking shot.A camera arc is similar the camera moves in a rough semi-circle  around the subject. Some definitions of the arc shot describe it as being tracking and dollying at the same time, i.e. simultaneous side-to-side and in-and-out movement.

Crane Shot

A crane shot is a shot taken by a camera on a crane. The most obvious uses are to view the actors from above or to move up and away from them, a common way of ending a movie. Some filmmakers like to have the camera on a boom arm just to make it easier to move around between ordinary set-ups. Most cranes accommodate both the camera and an operator, but some can be operated by remote control. They are usually, but not always, found in what are supposed to be emotional or suspenseful scenes.

Tracking Shot
Roughly synonymous with the dolly shot, but often defined more specifically as movement which stays a constant distance from the action, especially side-to-side movement. In television news, tracking shots are commonly used for "walk and talk" interviews. This is where several people are talking and moving while the camera follows them. The camera is usually in front of them with the photographer walking backwards. The idea is to give the illusion of natural interaction. The audience feels like they are just another person walking along with the reporter and interview subject.

Matrix Rooftops Clip

In the Matrix the use the camera techniques such as close ups to show that Neo (Protagonist) got wounded, also they used a mid shot to show the audience they are on a rooftop. The most used camera technique is close ups which shows the characters emotion when he/she sees something.

The music is fast paced and has a high pitch to create tension, they also use slow motion and silence to create tension and it gets the audience on the edge off their seat, this happens in the beginning of the clip where Neo kicks the two pilots.

The editing is this clips is great and accurate especially the slow motion. The use of the cut away make the action faster and not to make it drag on this makes the audience think the fight is fast, this happens multiple times when they switch from one character to another to show what they are doing.

Media work 1

1)The name of the film is called Avengers Assemble,it was directed by Joss Whedon. The main characters are Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L Jackson.
2)The sub-genre of this film is a comic book action the audience will recognize it at the very beginning of the film where it says Marvel Comics.
3)Nick Fury is director of S.H.I.E.L.D, an international peace keeping agency. The agency is a who's who of Marvel Super Heroes, with Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When global security is threatened by Loki and his cohorts, Nick Fury and his team will need all their powers to save the world from disaster.
4)One of the protagonist is Tony Stark/Iron.He is a  billionaire industrialist and inventor. He is a hero because he fights for good and saves the day.
5)The antagonist is Loki the God of mischief.he is smart but a very deadly villain. He is the villain because he gets up to no good and goes against the protagonist.
6)Other conventional is Captain America,he is a conventional character because he is fighting to protect something good and is big and strong.
7)You can tell it is a action/adventure because there is a lot of fighting and build ups.
8)the diegetic sounds in the film start from a low to a high sound. The non-diegetic sounds are explosion that the characters are aware of.
9)the camera shots are slowly moving long shots and arc shots to show how the characters what the characters look like.
10)I don't think they broke the action/adventure because if they broke it,it would confuse the audience.
